The Initial Consultation

Before we commence with the Trioclear™ treatment, you will visit our practice. During this visit, we will determine if Trioclear™ is the best solution for you. Share your preferences with us, and we will inform you about the results you can expect with this invisible brace. Feel free to ask any questions, and we will explain the subsequent steps of the treatment. After this consultation, you will receive a personalized treatment plan and cost overview.

Dental Analysis for Custom Aligners

At a follow-up appointment in our Amsterdam practice, we will take new photos of your teeth and assess their current alignment. We will then create an impression of your teeth, which we use to generate a simulation that shows you the exact expected results. During this consultation, we will also inform you about the duration of wearing the aligners to achieve the desired outcome.

Wearing Trioclear™ Aligners

With all the necessary information about your teeth, we will start creating the aligners for you. These will be ready for you in our dental practice after a few weeks. When you pick up the aligner, we will instruct you on how to wear the brace and how to keep it clean. Once the pressure from the Trioclear™ aligner on your teeth has diminished (approximately after two weeks), you will begin using a new aligner until the desired result is achieved.

Frequently asked questions

How long should I wear a Trioclear™ bit?

It depends on the current position of your teeth and how long you should wear the Trioclear™. You gradually change the hardness of the bit (soft, to medium, to hard). We recommend that you wear the braces at least 22 hours a day. During the second consultation, we can tell you exactly how long you should wear the Trioclear™ braces for the desired results.

Do others see that I am wearing braces?

The aligner has a transparent color. There is little chance of anyone seeing the braces. The aligner of Trioclear™ also covers part of your gums. So the braces are also barely visible when you talk or laugh.

May I keep the Trioclear™ in when I eat or drink?

You may withhold the Trioclear™ when eating or drinking something cold. For a hot dish or drink, you must take the bit off. If you don’t like that, you may also take the brace off during meals.

Does wearing a Trioclear™ hurt?

TrioClear® is an innovative three-step solution, so you hardly feel any pain while wearing the aligner. You gradually change from a soft, to a medium, to a hard bit for each part of the treatment. As a result, the treatment hurts less than wearing a regular brace.
