During the periodic check-up, our dentist in Amsterdam examines your teeth for any abnormalities or problems. They check for cavities, inflamed gums, tartar, or other issues, such as problems with the roots of your teeth and molars. By coming in every six months, you can prevent serious problems. The rates for periodic check-ups are the same for all dentists in the Netherlands and are determined nationally by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa).
